Guitar Quest 2: Planet of the Bass Notes is the second book in the Guitar Quest series and is a beginners tuition book that builds on the playing ability you developed in Guitar Quest 1.

There are 30 exercises covering a variety of styles and these focus on developing your technique as well as your sight reading ability. Every exercise has a demo and backing track available to play along with, all of which can be viewed and listened to online. It is primarily aimed at developing fingerstyle guitar playing but most exercises are also suitable for plectrum players.

Guitar Quest 2 also introduces you to a few more chords meaning you will develop a strong foundation in whatever style you choose to pursue.
