Guitar Quest 1: A New Beginning is the first book in the Guitar Quest series and is a beginners tuition book primarily aimed at developing fingerstyle guitar playing but is also suitable for plectrum players.

There are 30 exercises covering a variety of styles and these focus on developing your technique as well as your sight reading ability. Every exercise has a demo and backing track available to play along with, all of which can be viewed and listened to online.
